Get to know the Ciutadella area of Menorca

Beaches to visit in the north:

Playa Algaiarens (a virgin beach)

Cala Morell (very close to Algaiarens, it has a small sandy beach and flat rocks for swimming. I personally love it, and some clients have slept here with stunning sea views). There is also a beautiful restaurant called Ivette, perfect for a meal or a drink. In summer, many influencers take photos here.

Beaches in the south:

Son Saura, Calan Turqueta, Es Talaier, Macarella, and Macarelleta.

Macarella y Macarelleta, Menorca

The road to these beaches is very narrow, and often in the morning, the parking is already full. I recommend arriving at night and sleeping in the parking lot of Son Saura, so you wake up already at the beach in the morning.

These are virgin beaches. To get to Macarella, you can take a bus, a TaxiMar from Cala Galdana, or walk from Cala Galdana (40 minutes).

Restaurants to eat in Ciutadella:

Bar Tritón (for tapas; it's a local bar in the port of Ciutadella). Restaurants S’Amarador and Café Balear (both also in the port, offering fresh and high-quality seafood).

You can watch the sunset at Cala Morell, Pont d'en Gil, and Faro Nati (however, the road to Faro Nati is very narrow and often overcrowded with cars, so I don’t recommend it).
